
The fourth-generation Suzuki Swift is set to debut in Japan by the summer of 2022 and will be based on a revised version of the current model’s HEARTECT platform. The next-gen model will feature evolutionary styling over the current model than revolutionary changes. Here we have digital renderings of what the next-gen Suzuki Swift could look like.
This is a rendering of the next-gen Suzuki Swift Sport. The current-gen model gets a more aggressive design as compared to the regular car. The headlamps are an evolution of the current design, but look a lot sharper, thanks to new LED DRLs and chrome inserts inside the cluster. If you look closely, you’ll also notice the upper grille continuing into the headlights, subtly splitting it into two sections.

In addition to a new front grille and bumper, the next-generation Swift Sport has also been rendered with an all-black treatment. The two-part grille is more chiselled than before and looks sharper. The air dam at the front bumper is wider than that of the current model and looks sporty.
Over the sides, a new rendering shows the next-gen Swift Sport looking pretty similar to the current generation model, although it gets accentuated character lines over the wheel arches. The model is also specced with a new design for alloy wheels in this rendering. At the rear, there could be revised tail lamps and bumper.

While the exterior of the next-gen Swift is only an evolution of the current design, we expect more comprehensive updates to the interior of the hatchback. This could include a larger touchscreen sitting on a new dashboard, a new instrument console along with the inclusion of more features and tech.
The 2019 Suzuki Swift Sport will feature a mild-hybrid system and comes paired with a manual or automatic transmission. In international markets, the sporty hatchback will be powered by a larger 1.4-liter turbocharged engine that features 48 V mild hybrid technology. The car also gets sportier suspension, better brakes and a higher ground clearance.
